Harvey and Bob Weinstein Buy All Rights To Michael Moore’s Fahrehheit 9/11
In a solution to the current flap over distribution of Michael Moore's politically-charged doc
Fahrenheit 911, Miramax co-chairmen Harvey and Bob Weinstein have personally
bought all worldwide rights to the film from Miramax's parent company Disney. The brothers formed
The Fellowship Adventure Group, called a new "special-purpose company" in the press release.
The brothers have paid for all costs related to the production of the film and will incur all costs that will come
from finishing and marketing the film that are not covered by the eventual distributor of the film. The brothers have
all worldwide rights including home entertainment and will "secure distribution through third parties or may distribute
the movie personally in certain markets," according to the release.
Paris-based sales agent Wild Bunch will continue to handle international sales, with several deals
already in place, according to the release.

Actually, I am most disgusted by the movie, but have already researched the Filmography of Bob and Harvey Weinstein, because I will not be contributing to them in any way.
This movie is ridiculous and slanderous against our president! I'm all for freedom of speech, but this is unreal.

Let me tell you a little something about our President. He is a good man who does not take anyone's life for granted.
His sister died of Luekemia when he was 7 years old and it scarred him for life. Human life is important to him and the thought that anyone would believe that he would be responsible for 9/11 makes me sick.

If Clinton was impeached, a VERY serious occurance, for lying about a blowjob, than this group of immoral, violent, reactionary, fascist criminals should be locked in a very small room for the rest of eternity. What's going on in the White House and Capitol makes Watergate look like a garden party.
BTW, have you even seen the film?

Thank you for the other view. I served in Vietnam under LBJ preparing my fellow
soldier's human remains for shipment back to the United States. God, the gut
renching I went through! Here we go again. It would not be so traumatic to me,
but, I thought our leaders had learned. Who is the one congressman or senator that has a son or daugher in Iraq?

Thank you for having the courage to buy the rights to this powerful film and for helping Michael Moore get this movie released despite the efforts of Michael Eisner and others to stop this movie from being shown.
My family and I saw Farenheit 9/11 on opening night in a sold-out show.
Everyone applauded at the end..it was great!
I hope this movie will give people a chance to see for themselves how much Bush and his cronies have lied to us and how he is profiting from this so-called war..Thank you again for getting this movie distributed.

preaching to the choir,
or better still,rallying the troops.
to reach more people in the demographic
of possible mind changers...
My Dad, the hard headed RINO, for example.
It'd be difficult for me to get him into a theatre to see it.
If i could get a DVD, I could corner him in his house and
basically make him watch it.
Likewise with my rural in-laws and their circle.
there is not a theatre close or convenient enough
that they will see it.
DVD by fall!!! please!!!!
i'm sure you've considered this already, I imagine there may be legal, production and other hurdles,
or maybe they're already being burned and stockpiled
ready for delivery in trucks as we speak.
I think your easily consumable encapsulated message
in DVD form, would be an effortless conversion bomb-
a true weapon, portable pervasive and effective in the war on W.
those who won't touch your books, or go to see your movie-
can be subjected to, or even secretly peek in private curious indulgence
and be forever transformed.
