Friendster: The Movie
Via our distant cousins at Engadget: Harold Ramis is directing what would presume to be a comedy about online social networking site Friendster. Topher Grace will star as a young man who employs all manner of personal technology - instant messaging, camera phones, etc - to enable his quest for "love on the internet". There really doesn't seem to be a limit to the potentially snarky things to say about all this, but I'll cap it to two:1. I'm pretty sure a much better version of this film has already been made,
and
2. Mr. Ramis? With all due respect, I think your talents would be better served making Ghostbusters 3. Any plans for that, by the way?

I feel Harlod Ramis should keep trying to get Ghostbusters 3 off the ground. I loved the Ghostbusters movies and I bet that a third movie would revive the Ghostbusters world. I hope my comments inspire the making of the movie. I would personally see the movie and would definatly buy the movie when it comes out on DVD.
I have both movies and the soundtrack to Ghostbusters 1. I'm a huge fan of Ghostbusters, and can't get enough of it. I still have faith that the movie will be produced, and I will remain faithful. If Sony doesn't want to produce the movie then find a producer that does.
Remember it isn't the production company, but it was both Harold Ramis, and Dan Akroyd that created the script, and that's what the movies so great.
