Batman Begins billboards in The Matrix
Seems like the Warner Brothers marketing team has found a yet another new way to market the new Batman Begins: through video games. You're probably thinking that's nothing new - well, read on.A few months back Warner Brothers launched the Wachowski Brothers' The Matrix Online, a MMorpg (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) where you interact with other online players from around the world and complete missions. Like Everquest, it's a real working virtual world.
It seems that the billboards in the ever-changing virtual world can be updated with various advertisements. And that's where Batman Begins comes in. One could argue that this may be obtrusive, but I personally think this adds to the real life virtual world.
