Alien vs. Predator II: Why, God, Why?
Filed under: Horror, Sci-Fi & Fantasy
In an interview with Sci Fi Wire, 20th Century Fox Film Co-Chairman Tom Rothman revealed that a sequel to Alien vs. Predator will happen. Am I the only one asking WHY? I have never met anyone who enjoyed this movie, not even any of my sci-fi geek friends. And to think, the budget for a sequel could probably fund Enterprise for another few seasons."We will do another one of those for sure. It was a big success," Rothman said. "In the new Alien vs. Predator they will finally actually really come to our world."
The previous Alien and Predator movies took place in the future, and Alien vs. Predator took place in modern times. The new film could bridge the gap between all the movies and the two horror film franchises, Rothman said.
Before receiving a Life Career Award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, Roth found time to joke about the characters comparison to terrorists. You can find all this and slightly more in the full SciFi wire story.

Well i actually enjoyed the first one :) ok, its not a great movie, its not even close to the definition but ... AVP is a pop-corn movie, no huge expectations, just easy action, i think its worse than RE2 but better than RE1 and i think thats the genre it belongs to, i wouldnt compare it with the Alien franchise or Predator movies for that matter.

I'm not entirely sure that the original Predator movie was set in the future. But aside from that, No..no..no bad film company!

You've never meet anyone that liked this movie. You probably have not meet too many people. It was an entertaining movie. It doesn't have to tease my brain inorder for it to be good. You should stick to playing rubiks cube or watching someone play it.
