Star Wars Prequel Prequel Update

We reported this week that George Lucas had an idea for a new Star Wars movie. The scoop originated from Cinescape, where we now find out the conversation apparently took place at a resort last year, so it's nothing new. What the director was actually asked was which period he thought would be more interesting for future of the Star Wars universe. Lucas's replied that, without question, the pre-prequel period would be more interesting - the story of the fall of the Sith lords and the rise of the Jedi, many years before Anikan was born. He added that Yoda would have a big part in such a story. So again there is no sign of commitment or to any indication of serious consideration. Lucas may have just been thinking out loud. The Cinescape report ended with a quote from Lucas: "Star Wars will never end. My involvement may, but the story will go on."

Yeah i agree that there should be movies made about the knights of the old republic and the fall of the sith but yet id like to see the rise of the new jedi order and the birth of lukes son ben skywalker and the fall of solo and leias kids to the darkside of the force and finally the death of luke.i recently had my chance to get a copy of the star wars time line a 25 dollar value at your local bookstore i suggest all starwars fans read up because there is more to the shadows of the empire and also the prequels.what abotu darth malek and darth revan also exar kun,marco ragnos.someone please fill me in

Fine, but as long as he doesn't write the dialog, direct the film, choose the actors, or create Jar Jar Binks' grandfather in the pre-prequel...otherwise fine, go ahead.

It would be really nice, but I would like to see one after episode 6. I mean, would the empire just disband all of a sudden and there be peace without anything else? I don't think so.
