Really sad. She had a great career. She was amazing in THE GRADUATE and THE MIRACLE WORKER. She was very funny in her appearance on last season's CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and in retrospect, that might have been one of her last. She'll be missed.

She looked so healthy in Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's surprising. She was great. I hope Mel Brooks can still be funny after all this.

She was a real class act. She and Brooks almost made 50 years! That must be a Hollywood record breaker.

Dear Mel:
There will never be a greater love in your life than your wife, Anne. She was so lucky to have you in her life and have you make her laugh for so many years. You will probably never find that kind of love again.
I am from Brooklyn, age 62 now and can offer you a new love (I used to be in show business Ice Capades) and would love to meet you and bring some sunshine into your life. You have a lot of living left. I am Jewish - and have laughed for som many years at your movies - especially the German officer. You are great.
Please call - (9l9) 77l-2502 at home in NC. Just moved from Ft. Lauderdale.
