Russell Crowe victim of "abject loneliness"
Filed under: New Releases, Celebrities and Controversy
Russell Crowe went on Letterman last night, to shill Cinderella Man and "apologize" for his recent spat of phone violence. His mea culpa was heavy on dark, near philosophically meditative comments on his life and current state of mind. Being away from his wife and child induces "a level of abject loneliness that I'm not used to at all," he said.
Though he admitted to having problems with his temper, he also talked about his "infinite patience", which apparently went finite when Crowe was kept from "filling [his] basic obligations to [his] wife", who "needs to know that I'm at home, I'm in bed, I haven't had too much to drink and, primely important, that I'm alone," he said. So, you see? Russell Crowe's a deep man, one who feels things. Deeply. But if he can't lie on the phone to his wife, appliances will fly.

The article I linked to has the jerk's number. To have to be so tethered to his wife, he must have married a regular Lynndie England.

Russell proved again he is one brave & good human being to follow through & appear on Letterman Show, despite his crushing NY mishap. We all know how hard it is to deal with rude service ppl who do not care about your problems one little bit, and surely, NY has those types up the kazoo. Now this lamo clerk is seeing dollar signs. Russell should get more anger management counseling of course, but he proved his character by fully apologizing to the hotel creep.
Russell remains the finest actor of our time. Today & always... http://movies.groups.yahoo.com/group/RUSSELL_ROCKS/
