No skin for Lohan
Lindsay Lohan told Access Hollywood that she would never do a nude scene, because "I don't think that's what's needed to win an Oscar for me."
So would she do a nude scene in order NOT to win an Oscar? It seems to me she's not refusing to get naked for a role, she just doesn't think it's needed to win an Academy Award. What exactly would the scenario be that would coerce Lohan into going all natural? She really needs to clarify these things.

It is going to take alot more than skin to win an oscar. I do not beleive that posing in front of a camera is enough to lead to the statuette. It takes intelligence and talent and a lot of luck to get there. Lindsay's no need for drama (especially when bushmen are having to migrate to other places in order for them to survive) is a little discoutaging. I think she meant no need for compassion to the lives of others who might be completely influence by her behavior. We did not forget the drama she continues to savor for a tantrum about a boyfriend etc...

I would give her an oscar to strip off her kit. She will do the nudity as soon as she goes B-Movie. She is in a damn Herbie movie. It won't be long now. Although, the Olsen's are already overdue. They will all follow once Britney realizes no one buys pop from housewives. As far as integrity for oscar winners go, Julia Roberts. Please, that hooker with a heart of gold is proof of lack of integrity and skill getting you an oscar. Lohan has much better talents to display than Julia Roberts ever had in her day.

Actually, it seems to me that the best way for an actress who isn't thought of as great, or Oscar calibre, to win an award is to take on a role that's against type, and usually with nudity. Look back on the past few oscar years: Gwyneth Paltrow, Hilary Swank, Halle Berry, and Charlize Theron all won Oscars for roles with nudity. The Academy can't seem to resist pretty girls getting ugly and taking thier clothes off. It's so "brave."

*shudders* She definatly needs to put some meat back on her bones to get those curves back before doing anything in her birthday suit. She looks downright sick.
I think that, while it might not win her an Oscar, a role containing nudity will definatly shatter her "Good, Disney-teeny bopper" image. I know for me, until I see her acting in a mature movie with some type of meat (not another Freaky Friday, or Herbie for that matter), she'll always be one of those 'up and coming teen queens' until she makes the transition to adult-hood. Showing skin would definatly move her into that category.
