Why would Wesley Snipes try to use a fake passport?
It just doesn't make sense, does it? The actor was apparently detained in South Africa on June 1 after trying to leave that country with fraudulent documentation. "[Snipes] explained that he had applied for the South African documents for
himself and his family through his American attorneys," said a spokesperson. "During the
interview it was established that Mr. Snipes did have fraudulent South
African documentation in his possession ... [as well as] a valid American
passport." Snipes was eventually allowed to fly back to the US, but his immigration status was labelled as "undesireable".

Yes, this makes no sense at all. Snipes appears to be quite foolish with this stunt. Creating any type of commotion in a foreign country can surely endanger your well being and possibly your life. He should be thankful for his celebrity status. Any normal Joe would have been in big trouble. Is he not proud to be an American? I hope he can explain himself for this one.

Mick why are you blaming Snipes. Let's see he's a rich-black-American in South Africa just because governments change attitudes don't. people often have dual citizenships and if the government red tape is like others he'll have a long time getting proper papers.

"his immigration status was labelled as 'undesireable'". As well as his acting career status.

Yes Man, many countries allow duel citizenship including the United States. If this matter was originated from Snipes legal advisors, why were they fraudulent? Something is'nt kosher here. Snipes went abroad as an American citizen and if he could'nt legally obtain the right paper work, he should have proudly returned as an American citizen.

I recall reading a while back that he acted quite oddly in general.
I think he was carted off by security at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas once as well.
I suppose all that spare time has gone to his head...
