Watch out, Jesse James - you just got Afflecked! Ben's younger brother Casey is set to star in The Assasination of Jesse James as the titular assasinator, with Brad Pitt playing the famous outlaw. Jealous of all the attention James was getting for being "the fastest gun in the west," Ford shot James in an attempt to make a name for himself. The plan went awry when Ford's bullet hit James in the back, thus cementing his reputation as a coward. No word yet on when the project shoots, so we can't confirm whether or not Pitt's whole "Dude, I'm totally going to take a year off to make a documentary about architecture, bro" blahblahblah was on the level. _thumbnail.jpg)

From the included MovieHole link and from IMDB, it looks like Pitt is James and Affleck is Ford.

so, pitt as warn-out western anti-hero wheezing out the the dying words, "son, killin' a man aint no way to be a man. i know. i done my fair share o' killin'." at least, that's all i can imagine the film being about at this point.
