Christopher Walken for President!

I love this post-Reagan paradigm that states, "When the country is in the crapper, it's inherently funny to joke that a celebrity is our only hope." And so we have Walken2008.com, which is exactly what it sounds like. "Forget
the run-of-the-mill special-interest bureaucrats from capitol hill and
cast your vote for a man who answers to no one but the people," reads the copy. "Stepping
up to the forefront of politics is a new type of leader, motivated by
his love for his country, not special interest groups ... That's right... Christopher Walken is running for President." Christopher Walken? Oh, I get it. He's got a fever ... for liberty. And that one can go on ad infinitum. Right. Ha.
