Jessica Alba will grant your wishes

Jessica Alba will be playing Jeannie in the upcoming film, Hollywood Remake No. 4629845. Wait, I'm sorry, it's actually called I Dream of Jeannie, and it's based on the old TV series starring Barbara Eden (the original Jeannie) and Larry Hagman of Dallas. Jimmy Fallon will fill Hagman's former role, astronaut Anthony Nelson. I'm not keeping my hopes up for this one, though the prospect of seeing Jessica Alba in a genie outfit is alluring. In the meantime, we'll wait for IMDb to update the movie's page, as Kate Hudson, one of the original choices, is still credited as Jeannie.

Hmmm, Jessica Alba in Jeannie costum vs Jimmy Fallon smirking and laughing at the camera. Maybe I can convine the theater to play the movie muted with Jimmy's face blotted out?

If Jessica Alba is going to grant my wishes, as the headline suggests, then I highly doubt the movie will get the PG-13 rating the studio will be gunning for.
