Kidman To Play Bachelorette?
Filed under: Deals, RumorMonger, 20th Century Fox, DIY/Filmmaking
Coming off the box office curse that was Bewitched, Nicole Kidman has been lining up projects faster then she took off her clothes in Eyes Wide Shut. How many scenes in was that? Her latest is as producer on the The Bachelorette Party, based on the new novel from Legally Blonde scribe Karen McCullah Lutz. Before you get all excited and think this is a sequel to the 1986 Tom Hanks classic, The Bachelor Party -- keep dreaming. Story surrounds a woman (Kidman?) recently dumped at the altar who's pulled back into wedding hysteria when her best friend marries her cousin. I'd imagine hilarity would then ensue.

It is always hilarious when someone marries their cousin. Wait, that isn't what you meant. I guess I'll just have to watch Great Balls of Fire again.

How does this woman keep getting high profile roles and big paychecks? She is not bankable and her last several films have all flopped.

Y'know, I like Nicole Kidman, I really do, but she alone will not get me to go see a movie. She seems to have trouble making good decisions about roles lately. Maybe she should have tried Tom's Scientology to help her career...
But, if it's as funny as the first Legally Blonde, I'd probably go see it with or without Nicole in it.
