Welcome To Club Depp
Filed under: Celebrities and Controversy, Johnny Depp
Twelve years after River Phoenix, the reincarnation of James Dean, died of a drug overdose on the sidewalk outside the Johnny Depp-owned Viper Room in Hollywood, Depp is getting back into the club business. Depp, currently starring in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, has invested with longtime business partner Salvatore Jenco in the Las Vegas club, The Empire Ballroom so that they might restore it to "an era of lost elegance and service". Depp was recently onhand at the memorial service for Hunter S. Thompson, the legendary gonzo journalism pioneer whom Depp played in Terry Gilliam's 1998 film, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.[via WENN]

If itīs true...there is another article with details and some quotes of Sal Jenco and there is NO word that Johnny is involved. The Mirror 3am gossip column linked Johnny with the new club, but there is nothing official. Sal is the general manager and there was NO word that Johnny is involved..if he is then silent.....
