Harry Potter Spoilers from Ralph Fiennes
Filed under: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, New Releases, Fandom, Family Films
Ralph Fiennes, currently shilling to be what looks so far to be the most overrated film of the year, dropped a sort-of spoiler on his role in the next Harry Potter film whilst talking to CBS News. Close thine eyes if such things make you pissy. "It's just one big scene at the end of the movie," Fiennes says. "Lord Voldemort
appears for the first time, in something of a kin to human form, I
can't give too much away but I had a great time filming it. I'm very,
very mean to Harry Potter, very mean." And I'm sure the little wand-waver deserves it.

Your lack of knowledge of the series is severe considering you are writing for a movie blog. It really screams "lack of credibility."
He isn't giving away much of anything considering everyone who has read the book will likely see the movie and know what happens.

The other comment is correct -- in no way is "Voldemort shows up at the end" a big spoiler. Any big villain in the Harry Potter series appears at the end. Not to mention, those 6.9 million people in the US and the other couple million from Britain and whoever else comprised the numbers for other countries who all bought the new Half-Blood Prince, will know exactly what happens before the Warner Bros. emblem appears on the screen. Not to mention, take that stupid picture of Voldemort off this page --it's been paraded on the internet by other uninformed movie bloggers as a real picture and is in fact false: it was created by a fan. Many have surfaced; the one above is a fraud. Also, the Goblet of Fire is not the most overrated film of the year -- that honor goes to War of the Worlds. It was made up to be this huge wonderful movie and the beginning is the only thing that did anything for me.

Finished Law School: When it comes to movies like this, we get yelled at for saying ANYTHING without crying "spoiler alert"
mwbashful18: If you click on the link above, you'll see that i wasn't referring to Goblet of Fire as the most overrated film of the year.

To add: The writer's of this FILM blog cannot assume that you have all been reading the book. It's a spoiler alert for a movie. This is not generally a "movies made from children's books you have probably already read" blog.

I agree, Ash. There are plenty of people who go to the Harry Potter movies that know nothing from the books.

Whatever else about your report, the one thing I am blown away by is the apparent truth to the fact that a fan faked that picture of Voldemort. Brillant! The HP fans are some of the most amazing people. Of course I'm one.
