Countdown to Serenity, Volume 3

In case you hadn't noticed with my previous two Countdown to Serenity wrap-ups I'm doing these by DVD volumes. So volume three here means I'm done with disc three which means we're almost to the end of the short-lived series. In case you haven't been following it on TVSquad here's the latest batch or recaps.

These are some of the best episodes in the series. That is almost an unfair statement though because almost every episode was of A+ caliber. Out of Gas though is story telling at it's very best. It's a must to have seen the episodes prior to this though to get the full enjoyment out of it. Once you have begun to care about the characters, you can enjoy that episode that much more.

Ariel is a great science fiction episode and another of my favorites. War Stories is just a fun episode in general. The mystery of River starts to unfold. What a great series. I have seen Serenity and it is great as well/
