The movie John Kerry doesn't want you to see
Filed under: Documentary, RumorMonger, Politics
Rumormongers are whispering about a new documentary on John Kerry's 2004 Presidential campaign that may wreck any chance the Senator might have for running again in 2008. Highlights of Inside the Bubble, which was shot with the permission of the Kerry campaign, allegedly include a scene of Kerry nervously babbling in Italian before an interview, a shot of Hillary Clinton rolling her eyes whilst watching Kerry debate, and numerous other gaffes and bloopers featuring various Kerry staffers and supporters. Though director Steve Rosenbaum refers to himself as "a lifelong Democrat" and Kerry supporter, the film's press release describes it as following "a disorganized, contentious, self-absorbed team
that thought they could win by 'not making mistakes,' and keeping their
candidate in the public eye without clarifying a position on anything." Kerry staffer David Wade - who appears in the film - is going out of his way to slag Bubble off as "a childish home movie." "The 20 poor souls subjected to this movie," he tells Lloyd Grove, "will be reaching for caffeine and begging for old Lamar Alexander tapes on C-Span 2. Michael Moore has nothing to fear. I think the working title was The Snore Room." That's a cute soundbite, but doesn't it sound like maybe the wonk doth protest too much?

An unabashed Kerry basher myself, even I've got to say this is pretty weak. I don't know if it's revenge for him losing or what, but it seems way too personal to be constructive.
If it focused on poor strategy, and how to improve next cycle, that's great. But I can't expect too many people getting excited about just making John Kerry look like an elitist weirdo again.

This is a blatant scam by the Republican Party to smear John Kerry. JOHN KERRY WILL BE OUR NEXT PRESIDENT. George Bush and the Republicans are a bunch of lying, cheating, stealing idiots. They will do anything to bring an honest Democrat down. You can cheat a good man out of something (like George Bush did), but you can't keep him down forever. Real John Kerry supporters will know that this movie is a scam on the part of the Republicans.

Hmmm, While I would not go to the movies to see this, I surely would on cable or perhaps even a DVD.
The documntary Pelosi's daughter did on Bush was a riot. Sure he looked like an idiot at times, but you got to see what he was like. Now lets see what Kerry is like. I did find a clip online where one guy was complaining about the picture the NY times used. That was funny. Hopefully that was not the high point.

I believe also that this is a Republication assault on the Democratic Party. Nobody could do a worse job running our country than George Bush is doing right now. Is your life better now than it was 5 years ago? 10 years ago? We are in a war we can't win. Bush could care less about the environment and the poor people in our country. And his IQ is the lowest of any president in history.

At least Kerry DID fight and serve in our military. What did Bush do during the war?

The answer to what Bush was doing during the war is simple....he flew a fighter aircraft, which I daresay is slightly more complicated than floating around in a boat on a river, then leaving his "band of brothers" behind after 3 minor injuries that did not even require a bandaid. The other point I would like to address to another post here is that Bush's low iq score is a lie, began by a bogus website. According to the military (which will be discounted by liberal elites), Bush's iq is higher than Kerry's. So it is a great thing for this nation that Bush was elected, he is saving us from the likes of A.N.S.W.E.R. and moveon.org, which are evidently now in control of a once great party. John Kennedy once said that America would meet any challenge to spread freedom throughout the world. The Democrat Party of today is ready to surrender anybody's freedoms, including their fellow Americans.

He flew a fighter aircraft? With lots of help and only over Texas, maybe, or perhaps the whole thing was just in his dreams. As for low IQ, the man needs only to open his mouth to confirm that, time and time again. Kerry has a law degree and passed the Massachusetts bar exam, reportedly one of the toughest in the nation, in order to serve as a prosecutor. He then volunteered for military service and was indeed injured doing far more than just "floating around" in the hell that was Viet Nam (as opposed to the cushy bullshit jobs Bush had in Texas and Alabama, for which he didn't even show up after a while). Jesus, where do these people get their information? Oh yeah--from drug-addled closet queens like LImbaugh.

If Bush's father had not been president, I'm sure he would be the alcoholic manager of a McDonalds in Texas somewhere. Saying that he served his country better than Kerry did during the war is hilarious. Again, his connections through his father got him a kushy job in the military where he could drink his ass off and still get an honorable discharge. Bush is not worthy to even hold John Kennedy's jockstrap.

Kerry has done nothing in 20 years as a Jr Senator other than snore when & if he showed up for work.
The only insight he has is hindsight, he points fingers and claims things were not handled properly, however never tells anyone what he would have done differently, nor does he ever offer a viable solution.
Kerry is like the playground tattletale who tattles for no reason other than the fact nobody will tolorate him because of his imbecilic personality.
Bush is no bargain, but with Kerry in office there would be a lot more to worry about in addition to the current issues which would be much worse. Kerry would just point & blame for hurricane issues while terrorists had free run throughout the US.
Kerry is a windbag and to anyone who says he isn't, name something he has accomplished.

Isn't it funny how the people who keep getting defeated by Bush say that he is an "idiot". How stupid do you have to be to be outsmarted by an "idiot"?
No wonder Democrats have keep losing so often that they're changing their party name to the Dumbassocrats.

Newsflashes for the guys saying "This movie is an assault by the Republicans":
- The movie was made by a Democrat.
- Kerry was/is an awful candidate, and anything but honest. The Democrats should not have chosen him. You can hate Bush, and still see Kerry is an egomaniac loser and phony. Maybe next time the Democrats will nominate someone good.

Far from discrediting the Kerry campaign the movie documents the fact that Kerry was talking about issues which have come back to bite George Bush and his administration. Energy policy, Iraq, homeland security.
If people put aside their partisanship long enough to really reflect on the 2004 election and the aftermath they will be forced to see Bush's empty promises and admit Kerry's ideas are worth a try.

It boggles the mind that Kerry, let alone the Democratic Party, would CONSIDER another Kerry run at the White House. The left should reflect on how much money and nation wide effort they spend on dividing the country and regaining "leadership", and then ask themselves how GWB still managed to win. Here is a clue; The nation is not liberal, it is conservative, and needs leadership, not division.

Kerry pretty much does one thing perfectly, and that's kissing and sucking ass. Kerry didn't know what he stood for, he started that crap on live TV. But what I remember throughout the whole deal was.
"Hi, I'm John Kerry, and I approved this message after I disapproved this message, before I approved this message."
