Snakes on a Plane on blogs

Snakes on a Plane. I think it's safe to say that this is the most hotly anticipated film currently in production. The other day, Ray Pride did a round-up of the hysteria that's currently sweeping the blogosphere. First, go here to get your beautifully didactic Snakes on a Plane t-shirt, and then cruise over to Snakes on a Blog, an entire Live Journal devoted to "the #1 movie of next summer, guaranteed." Yes, someone has taken it opon themselves to do nothing but aggregate Snakes on a Plane "news". My favorite item is this excerpt from Snakes star/executive producer Samuel L. Jackson, in regards to the title's change from Pacific Air Flight 121:
Beaks: One of those films that you’re working on right now is... well, it’s called "Pacific Air 121"—
Jackson: Snakes on a Plane, man!
Beaks: Exactly.
Jackson: We’re totally changing that back. That’s the only reason I took the job: I read the title.
Beaks: Snakes on a Plane! That’s everything!
Jackson: You either want to see that, or you don’t.
Exactly. Also worth noting on Snakes on a Blog: comics, posters, and the stunning proof that the combination of snakes and airplanes really does portend the end of the world as we know it – straight from the lips of Michael Stipe, "our generation's Nostradamus."

...soon to be followed by:
Spiders on a Bus
Scorpions on an Elevated Train
Bees on a Roller Coaster
But yeah, Snakes on a Plane. High-concept genre cheese tailor-made for yours truly. Can't wait.
