Pierce Brosnan on Daniel Craig: "You'll Regret It!"

Go easy on Pierce Brosnan, for a second – after all, it's not easy getting dumped for someone much younger and blonder who came out of the blue to wreck your happy home. Okay, second over. Pierce is going around like the jilted fifth wife that he is, cattily proclaiming that the Bond producers have likely made the wrong decision in dropping him for Daniel Craig. "Whether they made the right choice, who knows?" he told a reporter after the announcement was made last week. "They're probably scared shitless, thinking, 'What have we done?'"
I think that Pierce is "probably" the one with reason to fear. This guy has played three iconic roles – Bond, Remington Steele, and Thomas Crown – but he hasn't had much success as a regular old actor. I've seen The Matador; I think he's got reason to be afraid.

I have seen The Matador also. I loved it. I hope it does really well.

I have not seen The Matador but friends who have seen it say it is excellent and Pierce Brosnan's performance is suburb.

Pierce Brosnan was and always will be the best James Bond. Thousands of people are boycotting the Bond Films now that Pierce is gone.
Daniel Craig looks in his 60's! He'll never have the charm that Pierce has!

They stole Pierce's idea for Casino Royale, and then fire him from Bond. Maybe some of what we read is true that he supposedly said...but the rest...Bull! He has more class then that! The fact that YOU are an editor or whatever it is that you are, Thats what *WE* should fear!

Daniel is younger than Pierce? Wouldn't have guessed it from the photographs. Sean Connery is the definitive Bond but Pierce isn't far behind him. Daniel looks like he will fall somewhere behind George Lazenby and just ahead of Timothy Dalton. He might not kill the franchise but will certainly put it into intensive care.
No offense to the man, but he isn't Bond material. This isn't an indictment of his acting, Dakota Fanning is a fine actor but she isn't Bond material either.

opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one. right? well, if i may,.i would like to make a prediction. this blond will be a huge mistake for the 007 role. i dont know who is responsible for the casting but they should be fired along with pirce. joe pesci would make a better bond than this frickin guy. bring back pierce or sean connery. no ugly blond guys, next thing you know we will see rosanne barr as a bond girl. just my humble opinion.
