Cinematical Seven: Horror films in haiku

It's almost Halloween, and nothing says "Halloween" like...haiku about horror films! In honor of our favorite spooky holiday, Cinematical Seven brings you seven of our favorite horror films, summed up in haiku:
1. The Shining
Here's Johnny's great plan:
Winter in haunted hotel!
Just Overlook ghosts.
2. Halloween
Out trick or treating?
Look out for that great big kid
"Tricking" with a knife.
3. Friday the 13th
Jason holds a grudge;
Nubile young teens having sex
Really piss him off.
4. Silence of the Lambs
"Coming for dinner?"
Hannibal calls to ask you.
Guess who's the main course?
5. The Amityville Horror
How scary is it?
A film about a big house
Haunted by a pig.
6. Psycho
Ah, the Bates Motel.
Perfect place to stop tonight.
Think I'll shower now.
7. Rosemary's Baby
Want to have a kid?
I know the perfect father.
Just don't mind the horns.
Go ahead, give it your best shot! Pick your own favorite horror film and write us a haiku about it!

Why kill kids in dreams?
I thought you'd been burnt before.
Two words, Fred: nail file.

Maximum overdrive
The machines rise up
and trucks attack some people
who moan "Who made who?"

The Phantom of the Opera
Candlelight romance,
Sweet music, gondola rides,
Looks aren't everything. . . .
Dracula
Aristocratic
Night owl,seeks hickey partner
To drive him batty. . . .
Frankenstein
Tall, one of a kind,
Sensitive, non-smoking, seeks
Mate, looks not vital.

The EXORCIST
Little girl is sick
The devil has taken her
yet she lies right there.
