Fantastic Four Sequel Info or Yay- Mole Man!

Chris Evans,
the man who played The Human Torch in this summer’s Fantastic Four,
recently gave some sequel info to Total
Film. Evans indicated that filming on a sequel will begin in June, and that
the Four may be facing some new
baddies this time around. "There'll definitely be new villains," says
Evans. "They said something about Mole Man and Puppet Master.” He also
suggested that Reed and Sue would marry in the next film (no surprise to
anyone), and noted that he personally hopes the sequel will have a lot more
action. He says now that the origin is taken care of, he hopes the Four can “get our hands dirty.”
It’s no secret that I’m excited for this film. I love the
Fantastic Four comic title and even secretly enjoyed the first film. As a FF
fan, I was really hoping for an appearance by the Mole Man and now it looks
like I may get my wish. Like Evans, I presumed that a new film could have much
more action now that the origin is out of the way, and I join him in strongly
hoping that is the case. My geek heart rejoices. So…can a sequel to the Fantastic Four film give fans what they
really wanted from the first movie? I hope so. Thoughts?

Why? Wasn't the first one bad enough??

Maybe they can come up with a less gay sounding catch-phrase for The Human Torch than "flame on," which doesn't really work in these politically dubious times.
Oh well, as long as they can get Jessica Alba to wear a tighter, more form-fitting outfit than in the first film, I'll go to see the sequel.
Just a thought, maybe her new uniform can be latex.

Too bad Marvel couldn't convince the rival studios to allow for some other Marvel characters to show up. For example, have a cameo with Spider-Man to honor the "Fantastic 5" storyline from the old Spidey comics.
Although I'm not convinced 20th Century Fox would see any upside to this unless they thought a lot of Spidey fans would show up just for that. Maybe Daredevil cameoing would at least drive up sales of the Daredevil DVDs (both the theatrical and director's cut) for Fox, or at least they might be persuaded to see the light in that.
Yet the upside to a Spidey cameo might be persuading Fox to sign off on allowing the Kingpin character to be used by Sony in the Spidey films, thereby finally giving Spidey his best villain on screen.
