Jennifer Garner: Still pregnant, and jonesing for a latte
Filed under: RumorMonger, Fandom, Newsstand
You can all stop holding your collective breath - it looks like Jennifer Garner wasn't in labor on Thanksgiving after all. Perhaps she thought she was, went to the hospital, and they sent her home (happens a lot, especially with first-time moms). At any rate, fansite J-Garner.org published this pic of Garner hitting Starbucks on the morning of November 25, with her big, cute, belly in tow.
The bigger question is, where was hubby Ben Affleck and why wasn't he the one picking up Starbucks for his very pregnant wife? Wouldn't you love to have heard that conversation when she got back home? "Here's your damn latte. Which I went out to get, in spite of being nine months pregnant and having contractions all night. No, no, don't move off the couch, I'll bring it to you." And knowing how irritable and achy pregnant women are at this point of pregnancy, the photographer here was lucky Garner didn't dump that latte on his (or her) head.

I remember those last few weeks are so nerve racking. Then you go into 12 pulse hours of pain. Men are so lucky.

Pulleeeez...people. Why do we always jump to conclusions?? Maybe she CHOSE to go get her own (or Ben's) coffee in hopes of the walk bringing on labor. Give the poor couple a break!
p.s. - a little caffiene is NOT going to harm her or her baby.

I agree with Lizzzz, give them a break. For all you know, Ben insisted on going and she would not have it. She is a strong, athletic woman. I am sure she is very capable of walking into a Starbucks and ordering two coffees by herself. There are a million other reasons besides her being capable that could be the cause for her getting the coffees...just think of one...Ben was home putting the crib together, Ben was home drawing Jennifer a bath with rose petals... no one ever thinks about the good possibilities. I cannot wait for this baby to be born. I love them - they are so freakin cute!

Whoever said caffeine should be avoided during pregnancy is living in the dark ages. Caffeine is allowed in moderation and last I checked, latte's could be made de-caf!

Have you all ever heard of a joke?
If you are going to get on high horses, maybe you should mention the lower risk that teratogens (http://ptcl.chem.ox.ac.uk/MSDS/teratogens.html) pose in the third trimester?

I took a look at that massive teratogen list, and I swear you could find a lot of that stuff in the grocery store. Start reading the list of ingredients, and you won't buy anything.
