Great movie-themed ad
Yes, it's an add for Motorola. And
no, we at Cinematical are not shilling for Motorola. Alright? Good. Now that that's out of the way, this is a fantastic ad: it follows a cartoon bunny (don't ask me)
through the history of movies, complete with animated visits to
specific, iconic films. The films themselves are rendered in
deliberately non-realistic ways, but are nevertheless unmistakable, and
the whole thing is remarkably well done. My personal favorite bits are the quick stops in Metropolis and Tron. Tron! So, I have two questions for you, kind readers: 1) Did you recognize all the clips, and 2) What's with the damn bunny? Is he a new Motorola character with which I am unfamiliar?

Wow, I expected to get a bunch of them, but I really didn't o_O The lamp post thing is obviously a gene kelly musical dance number, and I got the Bond reference as it was very obvious, and Tron, and was the end scene supposed to be Lost in Tranlation?
Somebody make a list of what they all were please :P Especially the one that was some kind of political speech, as I feel I should know that one >_>

Asher, the political speech one is Citizen Kane (that's one of the ones I got!); there's a pretty complete list of the references in the MeFi comments here:
