Please, Nike, make me some future shoes
Remember those awesome shoes Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future Part II? Because I sure don't? Despite the fact that the movie was made sixteen years ago and online petitions are about as useful as mowing your lawn with a spatula, that hasn't stopped one man from trying to get Nike to create a pair of shoes like the ones donned by our favorite time-traveling, vest-wearing, Huey Lewis and The News-listening pal. I'd rather have one of those cool hover skateboards, actually. Someone should make a meaningless petition for that, too.

Actually, the skateboards were real.....they used them over a special track...some of the scenes with the boards were cg, but many were real!

Actually, no. It was all painted-out support rigs and careful wire work, and interestingly enough, featured some of the first automated digital wire removal in a film. This was back in the old days, remember. The only real CGI in that film is the holographic great-great-grandson of Jaws.

I'm amazed some people still believed the joke that the boards actually flew.
I love BTTFII. It's my favorite of the three. The shoes make Velcro look like work. I want them!
