Sean Connery gets animated
Sean Connery (Must...stop...thinking about Darrell Hammond), who confessed over the summer that all the "idiots" in Hollywood are on the verge of driving him out of the movie industry, isn't quitting just yet. Instead, he's agreed to lend his voice to the title character in Sir Billi the Vet, the debut feature from Glasgow Animation. Sir Billi - "a pillar of society" - actually looks quite a bit like Connery, which was possibly a factor in persuading him to take part in the low-budget project.Joining Connery in the cast are Ruby Wax, who will play an American (of course) and the always-creepy Alan Cumming, who has the best role in the film as Sir Billi's "faithful companion Gordon the Goat." It's hoped that the movie will be ready for release by the summer of 2006.

Actually, that looks a lot more like Alan Heim than it does Sean Connery.

M*A*S*H*E*D, that's INSANE. Out of curiosity, how do you happen to just know what Heim looks like? Or is it public knowledge that the character was based on him?
(Sorry I wasn't able to get your tip into the post before you commented; please do keep passing them along.)

I just started making short films and I wanted to learn about editing from filmmakers whose work I've come to admire. I came across this DvD entitled "The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing," and I found it to be an amazing learning tool for me. I highly recommend it for anyone in my position.
Anyway, Heim is in the documentary discussing actors sharing their input in the editing room.
He has a very charismatic look. And of course considering the recent Edna Mode/Edith Head inspiration, I can see why the filmmakers chose to use him as a animated character.
