Will someone explain to me why the inhabitants of Narnia were waiting for the 4 kids to come for over 100 years.
They never "turned the tide of battle" so I'm left wondering why they were even needed in the epic battle between good and evil.
One could argue they inspired hope with the people, as I'm sure they did. But that seems to be all they ever accomplished.
I was more impressed with Aslan as a leader. He was shown as strong, smart, and unselfish. He could have led the rebellion and kicked the White Witches army anytime without the help of the "King's and Queens" to be.
Please explain to me what I'm missing.
