Pierce Brosnan finally finds work
Okay, I'm being a little unnecessarily mean with that headline. But it really does seem like Pierce Brosnan has had way too much time on his hands of late, and he's used way too much of it to hate on various Bonds. I guess he's got his groove back – the internets say he's been cast as a – wait, this can't be right! – spy, in a film called The November Man, based on the novel There Are No Spies by Bill Granger. Brosnan will play a "calm, collected and utterly cynical" spy forced out of retirement to clean up a mess. Shooting begins next year. Now, what was that again about Brosnan branching out and trying to break out of the typecasting doldrums?

Uneccessarily mean but more annoyingly as inaccurate as usual.
Maybe you could look at the internets and find out he's currently filming a post Civil War western with Liam Neeson and Anjelica Huston and has a thriller lined up with Maria Bello for Feb. But that might actually require some kind of in depth research, like clicking on the IMDB.
I guess that Golden Globe nom for The Matador proves you might not have known what you were talking about there either. Yeah I know, hard to imagine.

I seem to recall Brosnan bitching that the Bond folks didn't want to break away from their particular formula, and that was what his issue was with them. So eh, maybe he thinks another spy flick would be more different.
Frankly, so long as he doesn't look the way he did in that shitass Greg Kinnear trailer EVER AGAIN (especially the underwear scene), I'll be happy.
