Casting Wonder Woman

upcoming Wonder Woman film has been the subject of much
casting debate over the past few months. As pre-production on the film looms ever closer these rumors have increased,
with several popular names floating about, Eliza Dushku probably being the most frequently mentioned. MovieHole, however, suggests that
Warner may go in an entirely different direction from all previous rumors- taking instead a newcomer to fill the role.
The MovieHole mailbag says "a little birdie told me recently that Warner are so over the moon with newcomer
Brandon Routh in Superman Returns that they’re keen to get a fresh face to
fly the Invisible Jet too."
I care so little about Wonder Woman that I find it difficult to form an opinion on any news regarding her upcoming film. However, if Routh is as amazing as all early reports seem to suggest, then it makes sense for Warner to move in a similar directon with Wonder Woman. Any serious fans out there with an opinion to share?

I'd like to see Eliza Dushku in the "Wonder Woman" role. I think she just becomes whoever she plays, whether it's Faith, Tru or Van's Sister in "Dog Sees God".

My problem with Eliza Dushku is that she's way too short. (5'5") WW needs to be 5'10, at least
Angelina Jolie has too much baggage to disappear into the role, but she's got the right physique.
I think Cobie Smulders, who plays Robin on "How I met Your Mother" might be able to pull it off.
And I second Gina Torrez, though the studio would never go for it.

Gina Torres was suggested to Josh personally by a fan at the Comic-con. So the idea is in his brain. I must admit I like that casting.

eliza is one of the hottest girls to ever walk on this planet, she should definitely get the superwoman role, it would make me see a movie i otherwise wouldn't watch if i was paid
