Golden Globes: Best Actor - Drama

Matt DamonBut Philip Seymour Hoffman takes it, and all I can say is: ugh. Fine performance, but what a nothing film. Heath Ledger and Terrence Howard both gave performances this year that not only changed their own respective careers – they took characters that could have easily slipped into ciphers and turned them into icons. So, heavy sighs from the Cinematical camp on this one – let's hope AMPAS gets it right.

I have to agree with you on that one, honestly i though the actor who played Perry Smith did a great job. Capote was a decent film at best but there were a lit of insignificant parts that needed to be cut but weren't
and i agree with you about Terrance Howard and heath Leger although Terrance has been great this year and really broke out, Heath was really the one to completely turn around expectations of his career
