Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp to new Heights

Sorry to hear that Johnny Depp is teaming up with Jolie! Have always had great respect and admiration for the talent of Johnny Depp. Angelina Jolie on the other hand....Well, I suppose if they want a movie about sex, she would be the likely character. (What else would be new for her?)

I just don't think Johnny Depp has to stoop to that level at this point of his career. Although this combination will probably attract, I will pass on this one.

Angelina is a real turn off whenever I see her.

It's a fact that a movie can be won or lost by the chemistry of the two main lady / man relationship. My personal opinion but I believe these two of our generation's greatest actors would simply dominate the screen by appearing together. Challenge is that the writers be on their toes to keep up with the acting abilities of these two gems. I find anyone dissing either actor ... well mostly they are jealous. Depp & Olie have so much & even more to bringing much needed life to the BIG screen. I will only assume the greatness of both of these actors playing off one another. Both privately & professionally are strong & don't take B.S. from the media or anyone really. They are two unique people who will only added much needed beauty to the screen.
One piece of advice though for their spouses ... Depp's wife & Olie's husband to be better be watching out for more Olie than Depp has a way of sweeping her male screen stars through a movie & off camera ... into her awaiting arms. I can't wait to see this picture released ! Thanks = )

johnnys girlfriend better watch out. i have no respect for jolie, think back to the big hub bub about monsters ball with thorton and berry, hmmmmmm hypocritical dont ya think. i wont spend money to rent the film let alone go see it or buy it.

I think any movie that would star Jolie & Depp would be great, As they are both fine actors! They are both very talented and are able to mold to their character they would portray. To bad we have so many narrow minded people who judge an actress or actor not on their talent and ability, but speak negatively of their performance out of gossip and jealousness! They are called movie stars for a reason, and it is not because of what you read in a Rag Tabloid!!!!

Unfortunately, I was turned off just by the writer of the article, Karina Longworth. What a sick reference to herself. Too much information.

I love Johnny Depp - but not in this part. Either that or pick a new female. I can't picture the two of them together in any movie - especially a story as good as Wuthering Heights. There are so many up and coming young male actors. And so many better actresses - not a match in my book.

She on the other hand has done the same type of roles. I would watch her in a naked scene though. She is the type of wanting to watch only once, nothing there to keep me looking at over and over. See her once, you seen it all there is to see. What is Hollywood thinking?

It will be very difficult to make a version of Wuthering Heights that be better than or even as good as the Olivier/ Oberon film from 1939, arguably the greatest year in cinema's history. Although Depp's talents and experience should enable him to play Heathcliff well enough, Jolie's seductive appearance may be too much for the role of Cathy, even if she could otherwise act the part.

This should be interesting. However, give Depp credit, he seems to be happy in his relationship as is Jolie...so I don't think he'll bite! I admire his style, and he has much more "under his belt" professionally then Jolie does. Don't care much for Jolie.

Two of my most favorite, brilliant stars...in an excellent story! Some of the previous threads are quite negative at to the pairing. Talk about sensitivity issues. Get over it already...time to move on! Can't wait for the release....waiting on pins and needles.

I am sorry for Johnny Depp, that homewreaker Jolie will probably do it another time. That is definetly her M.O., and she has no clue to what the word Morality means. What a mess she is.
