Official Bond casting news!

Holy crap, we finally have official Casino Royale casting news! Danish
actor Mads Mikkelsen will play the evil Le Chiffre, as per an
announcement from director Martin Campbell earlier today. While he's
tackled a ton of international work, you can also catch the new Bond villain at work in King Arthur.
As far as our ever elusive Bond girl, Campbell did mention that the selection has been narrowed to include anyone who wants the freaking part. Actually, he noted that the choice was down to two or three ladies and that we'd have to continue waiting...as if anyone still cares at this point. Word is that Eva Green and Olivia Wilde are the top contenders.
If a Bond girl announcement doesn't come real soon, I'd prepare yourself for an imaginary love interest. Hmm, I wonder if they can just CGI her? That could be cool.

Maybe with the success of Brokeback Mountain, they'll jump on the bandwagon and make this the first gay Bond. Haha, just kidding.
