Grindhouse Set Report: Mmm....Zombies.
Filed under: Horror, Casting, RumorMonger, Fandom, Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez
Last week, we had a look at the screenplay
for Quentin Tarantino's half of Grindhouse,
a bloody story about a murderous stuntman and his murderous car, the prospect of which left some readers unimpressed.
This week, our regularly-scheduled Grindhouse update comes from the set of Robert Rodriguez's half, Project Terror. Originally posted on
actor Tom
Savini's personal site, the (not really that informative, to be honest) report disappeared shortly thereafter. Lucky
for those of us who missed it the first time around, Grindhouse is due out December 1.
Edit: As you can see in the comments, Mr. Savini ever-so-politely asked both us and film ick to remove the information; we have done so.

Please take this down at once, before you cause me major problems. There is a reason it's not on my site anymore, and I need you to get rid this now....please...you have no idea the problems you're causing.

For obvious reasons, the set report no longer exists on the published form of Film Ick. Hopefully, sometime soon, whoever it is holding Mr. Savini's arm twisted behind his back will let go, and http://savini.com/ will be able to carry the set report once more.

Actually, Tom, I feel like I've come out of this owing you.
For what it's worth, your zombie gags in Dawn of the Dead are one of my favourite things in ALL of cinema.
