Jessica Simpson Does Pamela Anderson?

As much as you would love this post to take you to
a link that showed Jessica Simpson doing her best Pamela Anderson impersonation, sadly, that is not the case. However, I
will tell you that, according to British tabloid The Sun, Simpson is set to take over Anderson's role in the
new Baywatch movie. (I'm sure there's a dumb blonde joke to
include here, but it might offend you redheads.)
Not long ago, I reported that Simpson had snatched up the rights to the Jackie Collins novel Lovers and Players, in an attempt to attract some more serious roles. Note to Jessica: Running around in a tight bathing suit, spitting out horrific dialogue and having it all surround the word "Baywatch" doesn't exactly lead to more serious roles. In fact, it kind of leads to, well, low-quality home movies. The source that broke the story claimed -- get this -- "Jessica has all the assets to make Pammie's part her own." Yeah, and something tells me those "assets" don't include her ability to act.

Well I just wanted to say I really like Jessica Simpson and she is my role model and favorite singer but I think doing a movie like this is lowering her morals. I dont think she should do this kind of movie she already made that "these boots are made for walkin video" and that was just not the Jessica I look up to. If jess is reading this I dont mean anything mean by it I just know your different then other singers you dont go showing off your body like other people do just to get fame and thats one of things I liked about her but now it seems shes showing off more and more. I will love Jessica Simpson no matter what choice she makes she'll still be my role model and my favorite singer but I just dont want her to make the wrong choice but ill still go see the movie and support her choices.

Jessica Simpson is not now and never could hold a candle to Pam Anderson. Not only doesn't she have the body, the looks, nor the acting ability, but she just isn't the right type to do a 'Baywatch" anything.
Before she even tries anything of that nature , she needs to do a number of other type movies, and a stint for Playboy.

I think if Jessica wants to play in a Baywatch movie, and is selected to play Pam's part, then she should. Yes, honestly, she did suck in "Dukes of Hazzard", but practice maks perfect and she should try this new role. She is very talented and a true sweetheart. I hope the best for her!

Who wouldn't want to see Jessica in a bathing suit?! I'd rent it just to see that. No I'm not a perv but she's definitely a hottie! Go for it why not. She wore a baithing suit in Dukes of Hazzard. I'd really love to see her in Playboy but that will never happen!

Comparing someone to Pamela is like picking Spam over ham. Someone needs to part with those old Playboy magazines! To think either of them are quality actresses, blows my mind. Jessica's last attempt to be an actress, was not even an attempt. Don't even get me started with Pamela? The Tommy Lee video was probably here best attempt. Mainly because she didn't have any lines. Just made noise. The bimbo, blonde persona is so outdated. Jessica's a good singer, don't get me wrong. But Pamela is not a good actress.

First all...Baywatch the movie. How lame is that. Yes, I admit that I used to watch the show sometimes but Hollywood is that desperate that they're resorting to bad t.v. shows. Haven't they learned anything from any of the other t.v. show turned movies. Next thing you know, there'll be a Three's Company movie starring Simpson and Alba, which would be just wrong. But as for Jessica Simpson, who cares. She'll probably go onto to star in a string of bad movies but continue to make money because she can be cute and ditzy at the same time therefore making her a rolemodel to girls everywhere.

I think it would be great to see Jessica Simpson play Pamela! I love Jessica Simpson ... she is a great actress and singer! If she got this role, it is just that, a role, it doesn't mean she is trying to be the next Pamela Anderson! I think its a great idea!
