Three New X-Men TV Spots Online

The
title pretty much says it all on this one, folks. You can cruise on over to LatinoReview and check out three rather pretty X3 TV spots which started airing on Fox and ESPN this past
Tuesday. Despite my constant nattering about the many, many things I (and tons of my fellow geeks) find worrisome about
the third film, I can't deny the film looks pretty. Except Juggernaut. I don't care what anyone has to say on the
subject, the man looks incorrect and stupid. The jury is still out on
K.G. as the Beast for me -- I can see where it makes sense, but somehow I find it worrisome. The bottom line is this: no matter how much I worry and complain about X3, we all know I'm going to go watch it; and I'm probably going to enjoy it. Just like the watching Fantastic Four, my elitist inner geek will scream in rage at what they've done to my baby, while my fanboy outer geek will thrill in watching Magneto tear apart a bridge.

I've got to admit that those commercials turned out rather well. Like you, I've viewed the idea of adapting the "Dark Phoenix" saga with some skepticism. To do it requires so many major changes that one has to wonder how they can preserve the original concept. No matter my doubts, I'm still excited by the prospect of the new film, and the more I've seen, the more optimistic I've gotten they might do a good job. Here's hoping...

My only worry is that Cyclops is barely in the commercials and trailers, making me think this is going to be another case of "The Wolverine and Friends Show." I really want to see Cyclops do more.

I agree as I'm not satisfied with the juggernaut incarnation(he's just too small), or KG's Beast (he just looks old). The Phoenix reincarnation is less than impressive(expected more fire and brillance)But I will be waiting for the film to come out, just like the other fanboys.
