A Live-Action Jetsons Movie. Fan-freaking-tastic.

Sometimes (almost daily, lately) don't you
semi-seriously start to wonder if all of Hollywood is inhaling dangerous fumes, or something? I mean, where do they
come up with these things? If it's not a remake of something that no one wants to see redone, or a prequel about
characters of no interest to 95% of the viewing public, it's another damn live-action version of a cartoon that has no
chance whatsoever of working in that format.Following in the brilliant footsteps of such masterpieces as Scooby-Doo and The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, the brilliant minds at Warner Brothers have announced their intentions to bring The Jetsons to the big screen -- and in living color (emphasis on the "living"). Woop-de-do. Seriously, can you think of a single person who would want to see this? Fans of the show are surely horrified, and people who don't like the show probably won't even notice that it exists. See what I mean about the Hollywood-wide gas leak? It's really the only possible explanation.

I always wanted to see MARRIED WITH CHILDREN do a JETSONS fantasy episode. Peg Bundy as Jane Jetson would have rocked!

Not thrilled about the concept, but if they hire William H. Macy to play George -- I'll smile.

Steve Martin as George Jetson would be perfect. Danny Devito as Mr. Sprocket.
It is kind of an uninspried concept, but it could be really neat looking...costumes, robots, flying cars, the city...if done well.
I think the fatal flaw with Scooby-Doo was trying to cast real actors to play those characters. They should've done it as a live action/cartoon mix...like they did the Scooby-Doo Project short. Cartoon characters in a live action world.

It's about time that a live action movie called " The Jetsons " would be on a big movie screen. I think Bill Pullman should be playing the leading role of " George Jetson Linda Blair would be considered a great choice of Mrs. Jetson and perhaps the playing the girl named Judy Jetson would be Hiliary Duff cuz she's also one of my all time favorite as well as Rosie O' Donnell whom can provide her brilliant voice of their robot maid also come on now ! Also don't forget who has the greatest temper of all time Danny Devito of course could provide his remarkable mad angry boss of Mr. Spacely Sprocket himself ?
