Silver Surfer Joins the Fantastic Four

This fanboy is very excited, because the rumors of
the Silver Surfer appearing in the new Fantastic Four movie
have resurfaced with a vengeance. According to Moviehole there are currently two scripts floating around in conjunction
with the new Four flick, and both include the team's long-time buddy the Silver Surfer. This does, of course,
mean the existence of a Silver Surfer standalone movie will need to be canned -- at least for the time being.
However, if his origin story is covered in FF, an eventual movie could jump straight into the plot without
nearly as much background information as most superhero movies need in their first flick.Thrilled? Yes, for two reasons. First, I just love the Surfer and I've been jonesing for his appearance for quite some time. Ever since rumors of his own movie started popping up I've been praying for him to make it into a Fantastic movie -- it just seems appropriate for him to start there instead of with his own film. Second, we all know what the Surfer was doing when he first met the Four, which definitely means we're going to be encountering Galactus in this film. Bring on the world eater! Okay, maybe three reasons. I'm also excited to see movie magic give me a big screen treatment of the Surfer using the Power Cosmic.

Norrin Radd is back as the silver surfer deserves a feature of his own,for gods sake he stood up to Galactacus to save his own people and again to save this reched planet!

i have been a fan of silver surfer since 1972 whenn i used to spend all the money from my paper round on comics and tuck them under my shirt in case dad chopped me up with a light sabre.it would be sooo great to see the surfer in his own movie.i have been telling all my friends it wont be long. i think he should have his own movie first and no schmaltz wanted.just plain and dark and heavy like the original story line and it wolud be great if it was a trilogy like the lord of the rings.make all 3 in one and then release one exactly after one year's wait.mmmmmmmmmmmmm.i think all the fans alone wolud ensure its financial success let alone the family goers and the" never hoid of the soifer" crowd. bring it on . jay 45 yrs old kid

If you were to take that and have some fantastical
battles,potentially can be a real classic feature.

OK.....first of all you have to concede that the first Fantastic four movie was a total piece of crap and OH BOY!...the same director and writer were signed up for the sequel so take that into account before you hope that the silver surfer finds his way into the next FF film. I'm all for the silver surfer being in a movie...he's a great super hero with a real bitchin background story. I just don't want that background story being farted upon by the idiots who managed to make the fantastic four a dismal failure

you know all the A-listers are gonna want this part!! Silver Surfer has to be the COOLEST comic book icon of all time. I guarantee you that Depp, Leo, Pitt...all those guys are going to ask about it.
that alone should also help it kick butt at the box office as well!
