Cinematical's SmartGossip for June 12, 2006

Britney Spears is driving Mel Gibson crazy! According to media reports, the Lethal Weapon star is selling his Malibu mansion because the Spears-Federline clan is causing too much commotion around their gated community. The former Sexiest Man Alive is uprooting his family and moving closer to the Gibson-funded $3.7 million Catholic church. Hopefully now Mel can get some much needed peace and quiet -- I'll bet it wasn't easy channeling the Holy Spirit while PapaZao rapped around the clock.
Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Bozan, welcomed a baby girl on Sunday. Little Isabella Damon joins Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Violet Affleck and Suri Cruise as one of Hollywood's tiniest princesses. I'd really like to see these gals form a band together. They could call themselves The Newborn Supremacy and sing cheeky, infant-related songs like, Baby Love and Baby Got Back.
Angelina and Brad aren't the only people celebrating the birth of baby Shiloh. Denise Richards told Entertainment Tonight that she "was so thankful that Angelina had that baby" because Shiloh's arrival diverted some of the media attention away from her stormy relationship with Charlie Sheen. Phew! I am so relieved. At first I thought Denise's garish Pussycat Doll makeup was a desperate attempt to gain Sheen's attention (I heard he's a big fan of that particular look), but now I know it was just another part of her master plan to divert attention away from her messy divorce.

I must confess reading some gossip blogs myself, but I must say I am growing tired of their focusing on shameless D-listers such as P Hilton. I don't think I can stand them much longer.

Mel Gibson may want to get new family pets, a few roosters and coyotes. He may also want to install
a family shooting range and invite relitives and friends to use daily. I have also found new hobbies
can be absolutly exhilarating like taking up testing
traine horns. He may never have neighbor problems again. Hope this helps Mel.

Well Mel Gibson is the hottest older man in the world. Those blue eyes of his are beautiful. I would move away from Britt to b/c of the paparazzi around all the time (if i was a celebrity). I loved the movie Braveheart, and The Patriot. best movies ever made. All Mel Gibson needs is "FREEEEDOOOOMMMMMM"! (If you have ever seen Braveheart then you know)

Perhaps "Mad (as in nuts) Mel should move his family and devoted followers to a private island. This way he can decide who is worthy to live in his small minded little world. Sign reads "No blacks, no jews and no gays". To quote and OLD disco song, "There but for the grace of God go I".

As a catholic I am upset with your use of the name of "the holy spirit" just to get a laugh. What Mel and Brit do I could care less but find a better way to get your laughs.

You go Mel! If that's what he chooses. Small minded people like MX and comments like that are what create prejudice. Frankly I thought this was a free country...

Thank goodness there are still some great actors still around who have morals, Mel Gibson to say the least. Mel Gibson,Manny Patinkin and Stephen Seagal are my favorites and I will always look for any of their movies when I go to buy or rent entertainment. I truly enjoyed watching the movie "The Passion" but will NEVER consider wasting a dime or time to see that screwy latest fiasco produced by Ron Howard and starring ,hmm now what was that guy's(?)name?

Mel, you ARE entitled to your opinion, its still a free country last time I looked. If people can worship themselves in this country, I am so sure Mel can worship God. I feel sorry for people who have not accepted Jesus Christ, no purpose, no hope, no enternal life after death on earth. Sad! You GO Mel!

You may knock Mel Gibson, but I'd watch knocking the Holy Spirit. Have some shred of respect. Thank you.

When I came across Lembas I had to do a double take...the "channeling the holy spirit" comment made my blood boil so hot that I also glanced up at the author and thought the exact same thing...what an ass!!
Very predictable...because the article is about someone who happens to have strong convictions there is that inane need to belittle that aspect of his character...but only because it's Christianity! Imagine anyone in the liberal media saying something like that about Islam or even Voodoo!

You know what, I like Mel Gibson, and who cares if the man wants to move? No one really knows why he's moving.. People just like to get things going.. As far as people like M.Z goes, it's people like you that keep racism going.. And as far as Mary Webber goes, Tom Hanks is A GREAT and WELL ROUNDED actor.. And it's people like you who DO NOT know what they're talking about, that make me mad.. "that screwy latest fiasco produced by Ron Howard.." Is actually a great movie, and book.. If SMALL minded people like you would just not listen to hear say, and just go see it, or read the book, you might get the point of the movie.. I went to go and see it, and there were protesters outside of the movie telling people that if we went in to see that movie we were going to go to hell.. If they believe in the almighty God, then they'd know that it's not their place to judge man, it's god's place.. Plus I get this wacked out flyer saying that if I didn't eat meat it was a sin, and I was going to go to hell.. And that my soul was only worth $10,000.. I'm sorry, but my soul is worth way more than $10,000.. BUT KNOWING THAT I HAVE AN OPEN MIND, AND I DO NOT LISTEN TO EVERYTHING THAT I'M TOLD IS PRICELESS.. You Marry Webber, and people like M.Z. should look into that, and ask your God why you don't have more knowledge than you do..
