Superhero Hype has some scooper news from an extra appearing in Michael Bay's upcoming live-action Transformers flick. A guy who goes by the handle of Handz 510 managed to score some character (humans only, no robots) and set photos which you can dig here -- they are nothing amazing but they're fun to check out. They mostly center around the Even Stevens kid and a few others standing against a dull background. More importantly, the scooper had some things to say about an early look at an actual Transformer.SMALL SPOILER WARNING. READ NO FURTHER IF YOU WANT TO AVOID MINOR PLOT DETAILS.
Here's the deal. For one particular sequence, we learn that Bumblebee has been captured by the U.S. military in an area called "Sector 7." Our scooper has some buddies who got to extra in those scenes, and they saw the actual, assembled Bumblebee -- one of the very few scenes which will use a physical Transformer instead of CGI. According to these reports, Bumblebee looks "Awesome!" It may not be much yet ... but it's a good start to the robot news!

According to Autoblog, BumbleBee has been updated to the new Camaro Concept. Apparently, VW doesn't want to be associated with a war flick. Their behaviour in WWII is still hanging over their heads.
That, alone, ruins the BumbleBee character. He was the little underdog, with the VW body, trying to prove his worth amoung others like Optimus (a semi) and Jazz (a Porsche).
Now that I think about it, will Jazz be in the movie as a Porsche? VW owns Porsche.
