Nobody loves announcing new projects like good ol' Quentin Tarantino, and he took yesterday's Comic Con appearance as an opportunity to announce not one but TWO new Kill Bill movies. Apparently the first one will tell Bill's backstory, and the second will be a continuation of The Bride's blood-soaked misadventures. Oh, and both flicks will be animated. Really, Q? An animated prequel and sequel? That's what you've got lined up? Nothing even remotely like Pulp Fiction or Jackie Brown up your sleeve? Ah well.As much as I generally adore the QT's work, I have to ask: Will these prequels/sequels be arriving before or after Inglorious Bastards and the half-dozen other projects the guy has on his numerous back burners?

What do you mean "That's what you've got lined up?", he's got friggen Death Proof coming out, which IS his next film. It isn't a collaboration between Rodriguz and QT, its friggen 2 movies they're both making, attaching them to the same reel as a double feature with some humorous fake trailers directed by a slew of other people!! Jesus, somebody get this Scott guy back to The Fortunate University of Baghdad, Iraq and learn what it means to be fortunate that QT isn't dead. Shutup!

So let me follow your logic here:
Instead of offering the opinion that I'd rather see something like Pulp Fiction or Jackie Brown over a pair of animated Kill Bill sequels, I should simply travel to Baghdad and thank the nearest god that Quentin Tarantino is not dead?
My way's so much less expensive.
And I'm not knockin' the guy! I've been looking forward to Grind House since it went into production eight months ago! ;) I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun, as will these Kill Bill offshoots ... still, I'd like him to do another flick somewhat similar to Pulp Fiction or Jackie Brown. All I'm sayin'.

OOOH!!AAAHH!! When it will be released? I can not wait to see. Kill Bill was a good slice and dice movie. Uma knows how to cut them into pieces. I am waiting for the animations?

Personally, I thought that the animated sequence was the best part of KB1. And the superman story the best part of KB2. I think it's awesome that Q is offering us backstory and possible more revenge (albeit on the bride) from the likes of sophie, a blind elle driver and the daughter of vernita green...

Only the martial art scenes were appealing to see
as the rest of QT's stuff is worthless garbage.

What's wrong with animation? Tarantino has publically stated a love for Japanese anime, as well as movies like "Coonskin." He likes making films that are like the films that he likes. Every one of his films to date has been a variation on a different type of film. Now he's making two animated films and a war film. What else could you expect from him, but to make movies that he loves?
