Allen & Hanks Dig Back Into the Toybox
Filed under: Animation, Comedy, Disney, Remakes and Sequels
We all knew it would happen. The only real question was whether or not it would happen with Pixar's involvement. And since that mega-expensive Disney/Pixar hook-up last year, the only remaining question was: When?I'm talking, of course, about Toy Story 3.
The early naysayers were worried that without the involvement of Pixar and/or the return of the original voice cast, Toy Story 3 would pretty much ... stink. And since Disney has long since proven how they like to treat their sequels, the Toy fans were justifiably thrilled when the Pixar deal went through. Plus, now comes a little extra piece of potentially good news: Tim Allen recently told The National Ledger he's on board for TS3 and that he "believes" Tom Hanks will be returning as well. Apparently the former sitcom star who now spends his days making truly awful movies is pretty excited about the new Toy story that John Lasseter & Co. have cooked up.
Don't screw this one up, fellas.

I would imagine they have good reason to start this project up again since wasn't one of Lasseter's first actions after the Disney buyout to halt all TS3 production?

I really really hope they don't mess it up....That would be so disappointing!! Toy Story 1 and 2 are soooo great, my children love them....I welcome a Toy Story 3 but only if it is up to the standards of the previous 2....I heard there is a Shrek 3 coming out next summer, I am really excited about all of these movies....How great!!

I am so excited about a new Toy Story movie. I have a 10 year old that is a fanatic. Two of his birthday parties had Toy Story’s theme. Every year for Christmas he gets a Buzz or Woody and still looks for the Toy Stories toy's evertime we go shopping. Although his latest obsession is Pirates of the Caribbean I cant wait until he finds out about TS3.

How was it too dark for young children if anything it taught them to be careful of strangers cause point being the guy AL was a stranger who bought woody and woody was in a strang place with a strange person it was actually very cute for children and also sat on the fact of what can hapen if you dont play with your toys properly and what happens when you break then some of what I know all too well having two boys and a girl myself. They watched toystory day and night and I hope that a 3rd one does come out along with shrek 3 my youngest has watched shrek 2 day and night since it came out.

This is so great, my son-who is not even two yet-loves both TS. We started out watching the first one fifteen times a day and his grandmother bought him number two so we watch it now fifteen times a day. They are such good movies that are fun for everyone and are very easy to watch over and over again. Very hard to get bored with them.

TS2 too Dark, I love that one, If you think TS2 is dark what did you think of the evil kid Sid in TS1, we don't let that one been seen, but TS2 is a great movie...I also hope ts3 lives up to the standards we are all expecting...
