X-Men 4 Update: Wolverine Comes First

With the XMen comics, team members are swapped out of rotation constantly, there are numerous X Teams, etc. etc.

So, I would think an X Men 4 without the old cast could work, although it might turn into X Men 4: New Mutants or something, landing more into spin off territory.

Of course, with the fanbase of these movies, they could replace the entire cast with Gambit, and I think the fan's would be ecstatic!

What if they packaged the individual characters' movies as part of the X-Men series, like "X-Men:Wolverine or X-Men: Magneto?" That way they can spin off the X-titles any way they want and still keep the tie-in to the original trilogy.

With the X-Men, the characters are the stars, not the actors. Yes, an X-Men movie absolutely can thrive without its celebrity faces, but the difficulty comes in making an X-Men movie without, say, Wolverine.

My input on the matter is hopefully they wont change the actors. I dont think that the new X-Men could really get that much better. If they change the actors its like seeing the Linchon Memorial. If someone were to take him out and put someone else in but history stayed the same everyone would know its wrong.Whe. people see the movie they'll all be saying the same thing or something like it "Whats goin on here. Were's Iceman or Rogue?". I mean changing the actors isn't gonna make the croud to happy.

as long as they dont pass some other actor off as one of the Xmen in the first three it would be alright

Personally, a change in characters would be a little weird. I mean how can you have certain people play the same characters for 3 movies, and then change them on the 4th? Come on, this isn't Fresh Prince!!! If anything, the producers should just make their roles a little smaller, and introduce new mutants like Gambit (who is my personal favorite), or show more focus on other mutants like Wolverine, Cyclops, or Beast. I mean when people try to make too many changes, thats how story mishaps and inconsistencies begin.

X-men without all the big stars will be a bomb. With Scott(Cyclops) dead your missing one of the x-men. plus you already lost prof.X, Jean, and Rogue gave up her power, even though she was one of the most powerful mutants. Then you know Hugh Jackman isnt going to sign onto another movie. Halley Barrie wont do it either o else she will be the only really big star in the movie. So going ahead with an X-men 4 movie will be a complete waste of time.

I READ THE COMICS AS A KID AND NEARLY GOOED AFTER THE FIRST ONE, IT WOULD BE A CRIME TO NOT MAKE ANOTHER MOVIE, REGARDLESS OF THE STARS, ITS THE CHARACTERS THAT DRIVE PEOPLE THAT CAN I IDENTIFY WITH THEM TO THE MOVIES, OR JUST TO WATCH REALLY COOL MUTANTS WITH POWERS THAT WE ALL WISH THAT WE HAD DUKE IT OUT! well we know that xavior isn't dead. So therefore I think it is possible that can leave the door open for the other supposedly dead characters to be brought back. Because think about it, they never found Cyclops's body, all they found was his classes. Furthermore, what happenes to the Pheonix when it dies? It is reborn from its ashes, just like in Harry Potter. Therefore I think they still might come back in the next movie.

Ok personally i think these characters have went as far as they can because they killed of xavier(which was alive in the clip after the movie)jean and cyclops and Rogue got rid of her powers they should make a generation x movie you know with jubilee syren and all of them u know with Emma Frost as the Prof. X type but if they did make another one Jean wasnt really the phoenix in the comic it just a mimic while she was in suspended animation and u saw how magneto got his power back well if his comes back then so will rogues and since storm took over the school then Rogue would have to lead the xmen and the fourth could be about apocalypse but it wouldnt be right without cable and he is jean and scotts son but they didnt bang so he aint born so do you see my point but i would love another movie so keep em coming

I like the X-Men comics every since I was a kid,but the movie is kind a little wierded especilly the third one ,is like they took out 3 most known and powerful mutant Jean Grey, Scott Summers and Charles Xavier .I think the fourth movie sholud be like this´Scott dint died but when he was kissing with Jean he felt something wierd so he blast Jean with his power and gone for a while .He´ll come back when The Cure Battle is over .When he come back he is upset about every thing so Logan told him every thing about Jean joined Magneto ,turned her to destroy every thing that stood on her way and not dint took any advice from Professor X and killed him .Than Scott ride to see Eric Magnus Lasherr so called Magneto and ask him everything and than Scott is so ready to blast him but Magneto seem so calm ´Jean is not dead and so the Professor ´says Magneto. Scott is confused .She´s just resting ,Jean is a most powerful mutant that I never seen so I think that Jean is powerful than that So she can´t be killed by Wolverine ,soon she´ll come back with the Professor says Magneto .And I think Magneto will controll his power again and his son and daughter Peatro and Wanda will stand on his side and Toad and Sabertooth too will come back and be on his side but Mystique I dont know ....All I say is all heroes should come back and fight each other and I think some of you will agree with me.If Lauren Schuler Donner ever make the fifth film .I think it should be about Apocolypse or better yet make a serie about X-Men it´ll be great.

I wouldn't bet any HSX dollars on X4 before seeing how the Wolverine spin-off turns out. Examples: Elektra, Catwoman... I'm scared.

Shouldn't we see Sinister in the next X-men Trilogy since it was him that stirred the pot with Jean and Scott producing Cable. Rogue needs to get all of her powers from Mrs. Marvel, Gambit needs to show up, and can we please get more than just a glimps of a Sentinel!!

i hope there is an x men 4 cause i reallly like the other movies and shows. i feel like everyone has some kind of conection to the x men. but i think it wouldnt feel the same if the movie had only the younger generation of the xmen. idk thats just my opinion. but the third movie already took out some of the most powerful and oldest mutants. they really need to think of something to replace or bring back these three people who practically made these movies so succesful. but if scott came back i think they can make this movie a lot better. but if the older xmen people arent in the movie...it just wouldnt be xmen. i mean dont the younger xmen go to school still dont they need teachers like jean and scott!!! but whatver i just want to see another x men movie!

I hope Kitty Pride, Iceman, Colossus sign right back in even if all the other big names dont. I dont take it against these big stars if they wanna move on but they will surely be missed (Theyve done the Xmen well and no replacement will do better). Now, for the new Xmen 4 howzabout choosing among the ff: Kristanna Locken as Emma Frost -the new head of Xavier Academy while Xavier is MIA; the REAL Psylocke; Polaris and boyfriend Havoc (brother of cyclops) I CANT WAIT!

There should BE an X-men 4.. i think, it'll be wierd if you change the old cast, after all the 3 movies and the old cast will be change!?.. the old cast will be better than the new ones... plus its ok if the wolverine spin-off will be the first to come, as long as they make X-men 4... im sure they will be, after all the comments i've read, 99% population of the world loves X-men!.. so X-Men 4 will be done with its full cast, new or old!.... X-Men!!!...=)

They Should Awaken Phoenix As A Good Girl (since the phoenix can come back to life and all) And Just Do An All Out Cast Of Mutant Orgasmic Goodness And Call The Fourth Movie "-Men:The Four Horseman" Hinting At The Ultimate Battle Against Apocalypse. If Only It Could Be So.... I'm Trying To Contain Myself Am I Alone Out There, WE NEED TO SEE APOCALYPSE, CABLE, BISHOP....uh, oh, sigh.
