Valderrama Goes Clubbing -- For Work
Filed under: Comedy, Drama, Casting, Deals, Universal, Newsstand
Right, that's it: The world is officially beyond redemption. Not only does PartyBuddys exist, but a movie is actually being made about its founders. Seriously, shoot me now. In addition to not being able to spell, these And apparently this works on some level -- at least it makes money for founders James King and Jason Roefaro. Plus, if Variety is to be believed -- and I'm afraid it probably is -- there's now that damn movie deal, which will reportedly tell the story of this thrilling business. (Remember what I said about beyond redemption? Do you believe me now?) The movie, which will be called PartyBuddys, is going to be produced by, among others, the great Wilmer Valderrama. And, yes, he might just star. Sigh.

I think most, if not all, of us would like to have that job. Speaking as a person who's had to work my butt off for everything I've got, it'd be nice to get paid more for one night of partying than most people do in a month working their 9-5 jobs. Would that be something to be proud of? Maybe not, but at least we wouldn't stress out about deadlines and bosses that forgot what it is to be a normal, over worked and underpaid employee.

crazyman - your run-on, non-punctuated sentence and bigoted slurs actually make YOU look dumb. Do you dislike the guy because he appears (to you) to be gay or because he's foreign? Or both?

Ricky, please read your post before calling anyone a 'hill billy.' Is that English that you are trying to write? Because let me tell you buddy, that doesn't resemble Queen's English, or English in Queens New York for that matter. Please refrain from using elitist slurs in a language that you clearly have not mastered at even an elementary level. Crack out some Dick and Jane books and start there. If it gets too complicated for you, ask a preschooler to help. What is most important to remember with sentence structure is: start small and work your way up. Subject + Verb + Object. Also, try keeping the subject in the present tense before moving on to more complicated conjugations. Examples of incorrect language usage: 'but most of you are hill billys from the camp, they guy is the only one alone with ashton that made it from the 70s show, plus date it.' Explain 'the camp,' the non-possessive pronoun & noun combo 'they guy,' and the mysterious verb-pronoun combination 'date-it.' Also see: 'dumb asses, wilmer is has a show on mtv and its popular in every celebrity news.' Whoever your language teacher was needs to be shot. Clearly, you are the dumbass sir. And I'm sure you don't get a lot of ass from hot chicks with that grammar.

Well,
Now as a 26 year old, Wilmer Valderrama has done quite a lot. Born, I believe, in Miami Florida' he has been an on and offscreen talent. Yes, "that 70"s Show" makes him look silly, or "prissy." This only shows his talent. It's called acting. In the REAL 1970's I knew many exchange students like "Fez", who is from an undermined country in the show. They were exactly like Wilmer's character. It's not a matter of sexuality, it's a matter of mores and language differences. He has a great talent for seeing the funny side of life under hard times. His Self produced show, "Yo Momma", brings different LA street gangs together to tell jokes, and hopefully not kill each other as much. Is that OK with you?
Sure later in his life he may take on stronger, more macho roles, if he so chooses. Give the guy a break, unlike most "new/young" celebrities, he's trying to make a difference in the world that we really live in.

Hey now Wilmer, you were great on my show, come back on! Also, we want you to take a lie detector test in reference to Mandy Moore, and if you really did take her virginity, do for me and clear your good name.

Hey there mister Lawrence Lutz, you just love to pick on the foreign kid don't you? You make fun of him for not being able to say certain things correctly and try to belittle him, but let me ask you a question, how many languages can you speak? Most of us here in the states can only speak one, yet we make fun of those that can not speak our language at the 100% level, well let me tell you this, he might be able to only speak our language at about an 85% level, but you probably couldn't speak his at a 1% level you ignorant fool! So maybe, just maybe, we could cut him some slack? What do you think? Let me know.

Hey Oscar, guess what, I can speak multiple languages: Chinese, Japanese, German and English. Son of immigrants myself, so sad that we can mysteriously learn the language and not happen to call people dumbasses but oh well. Hey, and guess what jerk, I was merely calling him out because he called people hill billies and dumbasses when he doesn't even have a rudimentary control of the language. Quite elitist talk for someone who can't speak the language eh? You know, I love people like you, open mouth, insert foot. Ich spreche Deutsch sehr gut, besser dann du Englisch sprechen koenntest. Deshalb ich nicht hoeren will, was du sagst. (Japanese-Nihongo) Soshite, ore wa anda no hanashi o kikitakunaindesu. Anda no hanashi baka da to omou yo, Hokano 'shinpoteki na kangaeru' Amerikajin desu. Kiku yo! Chiisai koto o hanasu mae, Ricky no nooto o yondemite ne. Ricky no hanashi wa bugen desu. And you know, there I lose my energy. Read before you defend. You're another disgusting American liberal, 'reaching' out to defend someone who brought it on themselves. There is nothing wrong with being an immigrant. There is everything wrong with calling people hill billies and dumbasses. If you're gonna say it, you better back it up. Go to hell Oscar. You and your knits. Don't call me a fool. Du scheiss auf meinen Schuhe. PS- If you say, 'You got that off of a translation site, you will have reaffirmed my idea of the type of person you are: i.e. the idiot on the playground who begrudges everyone anything and everything because he lacks any substance. Forgive my non sequitur in insulting you, I forget, the mediocre are always at their best, so that should cheer you up a little bit.

Mr. Lutz, I dont have to say that you that you got all of that from a translator, b/c you already have. You tried to cover your tracks even before the dogs started sniffing. Oh, and another thing, as a young American male who has a degree in Psychology, let me fill you in on a little secret. It's not enough knowing big words, you also have to know how to use them in a sentence. Using big words incorrectly (as in using them in an angry letter to prove a point) doesn't make you look smart, it makes you look ignorant and uneducated. By the way, the last part wasn't to insult you in any way, it was just to give you a heads up. However, I do value your opinion, which is why I love this country. Without both of our opinions, this world would be meaningless. We are puy here to learn and progress, so if someone can't speak the language perfectly, I dont think we should judge. I do however, agree with you that the term "hillbilly," should not have been used b/c in my opinion, its a very racist remark. And for the record, I am nor a conservative, nor a liberal, nor a republican, nor a democrat, for I think that to make a decision before you hear the problem it down right stupid. An educated human being should have things they are conservative about, and things they are liberal about. Thank you for your time.

You know Oscar, you are right. I am a petty petty individual. So petty in fact that I made up my qualifications. I'm supposed to accept your qualifications but mine come from a translation site. Actually, using a translation site, particularly for German, is so noticeable it isn't even funny how often it results in nonsensical statements that do not even come close to approaching correct grammar. Further, if you will reference wikipedia.com, Japanese consists of three different symbol sets in which they render their language. Roman letters are not one of those sets although Roman letters can be used to teach pronunciation and are commonly read by Japanese people. So either: 1) I asked a translation site to render my English into Japanese, which I then read and put into 'romaji' as they call it which would require me to be able to read Japanese proficiently enough to do so or 2) I actually speak Japanese and rendered it in 'romaji' so that it wouldn't look like some nonsense from a tranlation site. But again, look at me, I'm arguing with some fool on the internet again. You are correct. Ultimately I'm wrong for even acknowledging you. You are a psychologist and that I can't challenge. But I'm a linguist and you have all the right in the world to disqualify me based on your suspicious nature. I wish I could reference myself as such a concrete authority on nameless, faceless internet individuals.
