Harry Potter Wants Sex

I guess it isn't enough that Daniel Radcliffe (aka The kid who will forever be known as Harry Potter), is appearing naked in an upcoming London play. Now, he's appearing on television acting like a sex-crazed ... human teenager (dare we call him a muggle?). In an upcoming episode of Ricky Gervais' BBC/HBO series Extras, Radcliffe distances himself from the family-friendly boy wizard by making an obscene gesture, cursing, brandishing a condom and, put plainly, trying to get laid. The best part about it is that he does all this while still looking like Harry Potter in a boy scout uniform. After seeing this short clip of his guest spot, I may have trouble watching him play Potter again. Nah, just kidding. I could never let a little horny cameo alter my perception of Harry, and I still look forward to the next installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Although, I will wonder what Radcliffe, the actor, is thinking the next time I see him waving his wand about.

Actor or “he who bites the hand that feeds”? Daniel Radcliffe is one of the most talented child actors to come along. Radcliffe brought the boy wizard to life and with that cemented his reputation as an extremely talented performer. These delightful films have given him the means to further his career and test his abilities with such vehicles as Equus on the London stage. If Mr. Radcliffe wanted to stretch himself as an actor, he could have done it without stretching the condom as well. There must be many other ways he could have shown his comedic side, if indeed there is one. Ms. Rowling, are you watching your boy wizard?

I think it's perfectly acceptable for him to branch out and play more risque roles. He can't be Harry Potter forever. And besides, parents that are so concerned about their children's ideas of him after being in these roles should check themselves, since their children have no business watching this show or seeing the play. And why should Rowling have any say in what roles he chooses? He is an adult who is allowed to explore his acting talents in any way that he chooses.

Daniel Radcliff is a talented young man who has the right to explore all venues in his chosen field.If there is something offensive to you or something that you think is not suitable for your children then you have the right to not view the offending material. To imply that Mr. Radcliff should not grow into an adult or that he should not seek career expanding roles is totally ridiculous.

I love the Harry Potter movies but people need to relize that Harry Potter isnt real and Daniel Radcliffe is. He has the right to play other roles NO MATTER if hes sex crazed or naked in them, Because the Harry Potter movies are gonna end. Acting is what he does. And to me its his choice we should have any say in it.
