Katie Holmes to Play a Spice Girl?

Oh yes, you're not reading that title wrong -- apparently, Katie Holmes will be taking on the role of Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) in a new biopic. Unfortunately for people like me (who like to make fun of everything), said biopic will not be based on the sexy pop-singers, but instead will focus on the life of David Beckham, football (or soccer) star and international heartthrob.
However (and I'm sure this will not disappoint most of you), Tom Cruise will stay away from the part of David Beckham because of their "marked physical differences." (Right now, if I listen closely, I can almost make out football nut Martha Fischer screaming for joy.) For those who weren't aware (like me), the Bechkam's and Cruise's are pretty close friends, what with a combined hotness factor that breaks any and all world records. Thus, Mr. Beckham refused to take part in the biopic if Tom and Katie were not involved in some way, shape or form. Now comes the real question: Who will play David Beckham? Or, rather, who will Tom Cruise allow to star alongside his prize possession wife?

Holmes sucks at acting. And considering "Mr. Beckham refused to take part in the biopic if Tom and Katie were not involved in some way, shape or form" it looks like this film will be complete rubbish. Although I am sure the fans of his in Japan will disagree.

This rumor is every bit as believable as the rumors of Paramount offering Brad Pitt $40 million to star in a Mission Impossible sequel.

Is there no line at all between "actual news" and "things reported in the British tabloids that don't source anybody by name"?
There probably should be...

Katie is a promising actress and while I dont believe news from the British tabloids I can see her in roles relating to musicals or any music genres since she is a very good singer and dancer other than being a talented actress. I doubt Tom will allow his wife to have steamy scenes with a hot looking British actor.

I saw Kate host SNL so I know she's one versatile actress. This is junk talk but entertaining nonetheless. Im with the others that Tom wont like the fact of having his hot wife showing skin and having hot wild sex with a younger pretty boy Brit.
I dont blame Tom one bit.
