New 'Harry Potter' Poster Revealed!
'Harry Potter' fans, hold onto your magic wands, dangling wizard sleeves or Nimbus broomsticks (whichever you happen to have in your hand at the moment) and feast your eyes upon the brand-new poster for 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.'
Love the "You Will Lose Everything" tag line and the spooky image of Voldemort -- sets the perfect tone for 'Phoenix.' On the off chance you didn't already want to see this flick, it's a safe bet that this poster will bring you around. Click on the poster to the left for a larger version.
As for what you can expect in the fifth installment of author J.K. Rowling's beloved saga, here's a quick rundown. Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Dumbeldore (Michael Gambon) try to brace Hogwart's for the return of the vile villain Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). But instead of rallying the troops to their cause, Harry and Dumbeldore's assertions land them in hot water with the Ministry of Magic. Meanwhile, Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton), the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, slowly seizes power at the school. And, as if this weren't enough to keep him occupied, Harry is faced with a gargantuan course load, changes on his Quidditch team AND lots and lots of girl trouble. 'Phoenix' soars into theaters July 13, 2007.

I cannot wait till this movie is in theaters. My daughter, my mother-in-law and I always go see it as soon as it comes out. This one looks to be even better(if possible)than the previous ones. We love all the books and of course have read them multiple times. They have done excellent jobs so far bringing the books to the big screen without cutting too much out of them. They picked the best actors for the new parts for this movie. We totally can't wait till 7/13!!!!!!!

With the release of The Deathly Hallows AND the OOTP movie in July, I think it's safe to say that it's going to be a very HOT month. Having read all the HP books 12+ times, I'm most anxious to see how the new director for OOTP will present the story. In movies 1 & 2 Chris Columbus captured the MAGICAL qualities of the story as well as doing a superb job in casting and bringing the HP world to life for the first time on film (I wish he'd return to direct 6 and 7). Curon brought a beautiful ARTISTIC quality to #3, and Newell gave us ADVENTURE in #4. Screenwriter Steve Kloves has accomplished the impossible by bringing a condensed and abbreviated version of this incredible stroy to the screen without compromising the spirit of the tale. It makes me wonder if perhaps he's got his own magic wand tucked away in his robes somewhere. I'm looking forward seeing all the actors take on this new material as well. What a cast! However, it would be nice if Michael Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore could be more in keeping with Rowling's character in the books! An actor as able as Gambon should have no trouble expressing the intense yet subtle qualities of Dumbledore. A man whose self-control, intellect, preception, and high regard for all living creatures, allows him to appear mild. Well, I'm off to the store to stock up on Jr. mints!
