Paula Abdul Joins The Bratz Movie

So it is not exactly a big shock that I am not the biggest fan of Bratz dolls, but there are plenty of people who are, so that's probably why a live action movie is on the way. The story will follow our four heavily stylized friends through the pitfalls of peer pressure and fitting in, and all while draped in belly chains and eye makeup -- like I said, I'm not a big fan.Variety announced that Paula Abdul would be joining Bratz – The Movie as a consultant for fashion, dancing, casting and music. Abdul started her career as a dancer and choreographer so I would think she might manage to squeeze in a dance number or two. Abdul will also be getting an executive producer credit on the film and will help in finding "talent" for the production. No casting announcements have been made yet, so I would guess that would be the first order of business. The film's director Sean McNamara, who is known for his work with the "tween set," is set to begin filming later this month and is eyeing an August release. No word on whether her duties as consultant and producer will cut into her busy schedule of giving nonsensical encouragement to American Idol hopefuls, but I'm sure Abdul will find time to fit it in her busy schedule.

I think the Bratz dolls are totally unacceptable for young children! These dolls wear THONG underwear! To me that is totally inappropriate for a child.

Paula looks like one of the Bratz dolls, if you have ever looked at them. Her personalitly is fitting to the role.. Her build is simulair also. Her voice and attitude are are exactly proper for this role

Hi All;
I am so tired of hearing comments about Paula Abdul and her drinking/drug problems. I don't know how many of you would be able to endure the pain Paula is in most of her waking moments. She has got to take muscle relaxants and pain meds to ease the agony she goes through everyday from her illness. I give her loads of credit in carrying on her life the way she does inspite of her condition. Paula is one of the most generous, compassionate, and kindest human beings we'd ever come across in this life - there is nothing within reason that she wouldn't do for others. So please be a little more understanding of her. Thanks.

I THINK IT IS ADMIRABLE THAT SHE CONTINUES TO LIVE A PRODUCTIVE LIFE AND SHE IS A GREAT INSPIRATION TO OTHERS. I guess I haven't kept up with Paula all that well. What medical problems does she have? Like her (from what was said above) I am on a lot of those same pills. Muscle relaxers, pain pills etc to help get rid of pain. For anyone who doesn't live like that you have no idea how it takes over your life. Being in constant pain tears apart all aspects of your life. Its not a joke and I wouldn't even wish that on an enemy.

Everybody knows Bratz dolls are little whores. The industry that makes them should just admit it. BTW, Paula should admit that she really is a druggie and takes the drugs just for fun, not a disease. That's how it started out with my uncle-he took hydros for a bad back, and then became addicted to them, abusing his prescription that his doctor gave him.

You know what? I get to understand that when you're on the outside looking in things always look bad to you. So all those that are judging Paula take some time out and think about your personal issues before you call the kettle black. Not being a celebrity stop helps to cover up alot of you people dirty laundry but it doesn't mean you don't have issues of your own

Since I found some nudes of Paula I fell in love with her. I thought she looked so good dressed but she is one of them that is even better nude. :)
