Sundance Panel: No End in Sight
Filed under: Sundance, Festival Reports, Newsstand, Politics, Cinematical Indie
Tuesday morning I attended the panel for No End in Sight, the documentary about the mess in Iraq, how we got there, and what it will take to get out. The panel was moderated by film journalist David D'Arcy, and included filmmaker Charles Ferguson, exec producer Alex Gibney (Enron: Smartest Guys in the Room), former ambassador Barbara Bodine, who was coordinator for central Iraq in charge of Baghdad, US Marine Lieutenant Seth Moulton, Omar Fekeiki, former manager of the Washington Post office in Baghdad, and, via satellite, General Jay Garner and Lawrence Wilkerson (US Army, retired), former chief-of-staff to then US Secretary of State Colin Powell. You can see Part One of the panel above.

Thanks for posting the panel videos. After watching them I am very interested to see No End in Sight. It's fascinating and refreshing to see so many former Administration officials now very openly discussing Iraq.
On a similar note, I recently read about a PBS documentary featuring former Chairman of the Defense Policy Board Advisory Committee, Richard Perle, who strongly advocated for invading Iraq. The documentary, "The Case for War: In Defense of Freedom," airs in April and features Perle defending his positions against some very interesting people. Here is the website if anyone wants to check it out.

Plus, this is just one of 11 documentaries in the series,America at a Crossroads, each with a different focus, director and production team. Here is a list,

I have a lot of documentaries to watch in the next few months. Thanks again for the clips.
