EXCLUSIVE: 'Mr. Brooks' Photos

Have you seen anything on Kevin Costner's new movie, Mr. Brooks? It's due in theaters June 1 and I think it looks rather intriguing. Costner is some successful business guy with a nice home, wife and family (that'd be Mr. Brooks, I'm guessing) who ... dum-dum-dum! ... is a serial killer at night (I think). Demi Moore plays a detective on his trail, and William Hurt is ... some other serial killer who discovers Costner's nocturnal activities (I think). We have two exclusive pics from the thriller (see below). I can't remember Kevin Costner playing such a baddie before -- has he? And I read that he's already considering a sequel for this flick, wanting to "tell the story" of this character. I'm not a huuuge KC fan, but I have to admit that I loved The Upside of Anger, and that was partly because it was such a surprising choice for him (along with the fact that Joan Allen is sublime), so I'm hoping that this one too will exceed my Kev-spectations. And it's ALWAYS a blast to see William Hurt chewing some scenery (a little 'History of Violence,' anyone?).

Saw the trailer today, looks alright. I think Costner is an assassin, Hurt is the cat who hires him, and Dane Cook plays a fella who discovers mr. brook's "nocturnal activities".

its spelled out for you on the apple trailers site. costner/hurt is very much jekyll/hyde, ie same person, think fight club without the mystery. or david fincher.

I like the premise, but I liked it better when it was called "American Psycho." I'll still watch it because I'm a sucker for a good serial killer, and it would be nice to see KC in an anti-hero role -

Sounds like the same premise as the TV show "Dexter". As for Kevin Costner playing bad guys, what about his role as Butch Haynes in "A Perfect World"?

In 3000 Miles to Graceland (a horribly bad movie) Costner played the bad guy to the hilt. He beat up Kurt Rusell, he beat Courtney Cox, he robbed a casino, he killed cops, he kidnapped people, he even killed Jon Lovitz and tried to kill Paul Anka!

kc is a serial killer and william hurt is his alter ego ,william hurt (his alter ego )pushes mr. brooks (kc) into doing the dirty deeds .....dane cook is a peepy tom type who catches mr.brooks killing a couple and he tries to black mail him .....if this is your job ,you need to hire me to get you some info because yours sucks lol sorry just being honest .....

of course. we all want the same. but evidentley
some people have to play the bad guy i think it's
great to see kevin play 1 part as bad guy or ganster
