Warner Bros. Releases First Photo of The Joker!
Filed under: Action, Warner Brothers, Fandom, Comic/Superhero/Geek, Remakes and Sequels
We're getting closer and closer to getting a look at Heath Ledger in the Joker makeup he'll be sporting for The Dark Knight. Progress is slow, however, and The Clown Prince of Crime's face is being revealed only one pixel at a time. For a better idea of what I'm talking about, head over to www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com, which at first looks like a less than gifted graffiti artist has defaced the image at the "I Believe in Harvey Dent" website which Erik Davis mentioned here a few days ago. The altered image of Harvey Dent soon dissolves into a partially revealed image of The Joker.
From what I can see so far, there's a lot more actual scarring than in previous incarnations, with the lips being more of a scar tissue pink than clown red. Most of the skin is clown white, with dark makeup around the eyes giving the character a sort of goth look. I like what I'm seeing here, and I think this version of the character should fit nicely into the Gotham City that was created for Batman Begins. I can't tell if the hair is still the classic Joker green, but if you want to help reveal the rest of The Joker's face you're in luck. Once the partially revealed image shows up on your monitor you will be prompted to enter your email address. You will be sent an email that reads "I always say, you never know what a man is truly made of until you peel the skin off his face one piece at a time. Here is your chance to help." There will be a URL in the email as well as the X and Y coordinates of the pixel that you have the pleasure of removing. Go to the URL and enter the numbers you'll be one pixel closer to seeing Heath Ledger as Batman's arch nemesis.

You should go ahead and update this blog as it seems literally everyone on the planet has deleted a pixel as we can already see the entire 'Joker'.

The picture only has a few pixels still on it. Curious how his eyebrows are not green, his dull red color bleed over just his lips and scars. Very different from anything I've seen on the internet so far (fake or canon). . .

Now the www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com is down, or at least comes up with a "page not found" message, but if you highlight the background you'll see a "HA haha AHAHA hah ha HA HA" etc etc
odd indeed

www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com, has now changed to page not found.
However, run the cursor over it while holding down the mouse button and "funny text" is revealed.

If you look really hard the phrase "see you in december" is hidden amongst all the "ha ha ha's." You have to search each line carefully for the single letters as they blend in so easily.

For a marketing stunt, I think that's quite clever. Reminds me of the websites they put up for AI. Those damn websites were better than the movie!

I hate the new look of the joker he reminds me of the 1960's batman television show's joker. With all the effcys we have today and talent. Warner Bros. should should make a better joker. If this is the final Joker for the new batman film. I will be very diappointed. Make me wonder what 2-face or mr. freeze will look like.
