Well, it seems that the buzz and Michael Patrick King lust by Mario Cantone have turned out to be true -- Sarah Jessica Parker a.k.a. Carrie Bradshaw has confirmed that there is indeed a push for a movie version of Sex and the City. We apparently haven't seen the last of Parker's Bradshaw, Kim Cattrall's Samantha Jones, Kristin Davis' Charlotte York and Cynthia Nixon's Miranda Hobbes yet. And, of course, we can't forget about the mens -- lovers Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Jason Lewis and Evan Handler, as well as Willie Garson's Stanford Blatch and Cantone's Anthony Marantino.

Parker let the news come out on Entertainment Tonight. She said: "This is a very complicated puzzle to put back -- not for the reason that people speculate about because as far as I know, all of the actresses want to be together again for this movie." I assume that she is referring to the much-buzzed-about divide between Cattrall and her cast-mates. I guess the water has flowed under that bridge. Sarah Jessica continued: "Somehow in my brain I think the timing is fortuitous because if we had done it years ago ... we couldn't have done it now. I'm hopeful and very excited about it." Sure, they could just keep making sequels! It would keep us from Davis' rather questionable post-City work. What we know so far, if SJP and Cantone are right -- all the ladies are back, Michael Patrick King will write and direct it and Anthony is featured a lot -- which I presume means a Big wedding. Excited yet? Or do you still want to throw tomatoes at the screen?
